So I took it. And I just got the email that says I'm on the list of people they're interested in.
I am a lttile bit anxious that the manuscripts they send me might be as badly-in-need of editing as the test, but hopeful that the writer will have some clue. (The fantasy prose bit of the test was awful. At least now I know it was supposed to be awful, not merely something that needed a little nip-and-tuck; I thought my chainsawing may have gone over the top, but it probably didn't really go far enough.)
