In Ohio both Democrats are talking about renegotiating NAFTA.
Canada's trade minister has responded; if NAFTA is renegotiated, the U.S.'s NAFTA-guaranteed priority access to Canadian oil will be one of the issues Canada will bring to the table. The treaty was, of course, signed back when oil was cheap and Canada was a much smaller supplier. That is, when the Canadians had a heck of a lot less leverage over the U.S economy than they have today.
