Codex Musings
Jul. 22nd, 2008 07:52 pmFrom anywhere on the surface of the demiplane-city, the city appears to stretch out endlessly "north" and "south", while being finite east-to-west. However, if a person walks "north" or "south" long enough, he winds up back where he started. But the curvature of the space of the demiplane isn't a simple loop, it's a Moebius strip. If you go straight down, gravity reverses one hundred feet down . . . and when you climb up the other side of the reversal, you wind up back in the city halfway around the "loop" from where you started.
Those who jump off the side of the city, east or west, are deposited at a random location in the Astral, maybe.
