stevenehrbarThe latest Osama Bin Laden appearance on a video where he spoke dates to December 2001, in which OBL appears tired, gaunt, and as if he'd aged a decade in two months. We've never seen an even purportedly subsequent video where Bin Laden speaks. Lots of audiotapes that are purportedly OBL, and one video with no audio, but we've gone two years without seeing OBL say anything.
I think we'll never capture OBL for the very simple reason that he's dead. The last video shows an obviously deteriorating OBL and has not been followed up for two years; it seems to me the reasonable conclusion is that OBL cannot make videos anymore.
